Jacobite蒸汽火车的点评
点评：Travelled on the Jacobite train on 28/4/25 with my family of four.
We are staying locally and booked before hand as something we have wanted to do for some time.
After reading previous reviews we were apprehensive, but we need not of worried as it was fantastic!
It was raining on our outward journey but it did not spoil the experience we were in coach B and it was clean and comfortable. Train staff were very knowledgable and helpful - they pointed out the views and explained the order of what was to come
We had pre booked champagne and it just added to the experience
It was fab as a Harry Pptter fan to see the filming locations but also to learn the history along the route
Enjoyable time spent in Mallaig and we were in coach A on the return journey. Luckily the rain had stopped and we had some fantastic views and photo opportunities. Enjoyed by all - one slight negative was the toilets on the train were closed before the end of the journey with no warning
This led to an unpleasant experience with Irene the toilet attendant back at the station where you have to pay and queues as no one had change or understood what to do. No empathy among staff at all - rate the train but not the station be prepared to have a 20p coin or run risk of wetting yourself
