点评：I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the ring I purchased and the way Danny handled my concerns. My husband and I paid over $30,000 USD for a three-stone diamond ring while on vacation. After returning home, a certified appraiser found multiple serious issues with the setting—including:
The setting is too large for the center diamond, with the claws failing to properly grasp the stone, leaving noticeable gaps.
There are cracks and holes in the metal.
One of the diamonds is misaligned.
Centre diamond is not sitting properly
The underside of the ring has significant tool damage, likely caused during resizing.
The 14k stamp was removed and not reapplied.
A trusted jeweler later confirmed the setting was too damaged to repair and quoted $6000 to redesign and replace it.
When I contacted Danny with detailed documentation and photos, he dismissed the evidence and claimed he hadn’t noticed any damage when he gave me the ring—which is simply not possible. He suggested mailing the uninsured ring to a factory in New York in an envelope where a new setting would be made for free, which felt careless and unprofessional. After some back and forth - I just wanted some sort of accountability and compensation (even if it wasn’t the full amount of the new ring) - he eventually offered $750 USD. Since that was likely the best I was going to get I agreed to the offer—but he never followed through or contacted me again about the payment.
Given the condition of the ring and how this was handled, I no longer trust Dazzling Gems, Danny or the quality of work they produce. I strongly urge others to think twice before purchasing from this business.
