Altyn-Emel National Park的点评
点评：I noticed that a lot of tourists forego this and only visit the lakes and Charyn Canyon, but this is an equally beautiful area.
We followed standard route where day 1 we did the singing sand dunes, which can be very hot in the summer, and then Aktau and Kaktau Mountains the day after.
For Aktau, there is not set route, we just followed the dry river and turned back when we had enough.
It is very hot and sunny in July, so bring a lot of protective gear and water, despite the fact that we are lucky that it is not hot as it should be. My suggestion is to leave early to beat the heat.
As for accommodation, we stayed in Basshi village - the closest place to the national park and only place in the area with food.
Finally, entrance tickets can only be bought at Basshi village and I don’t think you can buy them at the entrance (I might be wrong).
