点评：In 2025, I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone and try new things—to discover what truly excites me after a tough 2024. Surfing was at the top of my list, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction than with Kurt and Diaan from Surf Big Bay.
From the very beginning, they made me feel completely at ease. They took the time to explain everything clearly, guiding me through practice rounds on the beach before we headed into the water. Diaan was incredibly patient, which meant the world to me since this was my first time ever attempting any kind of board sport.
To my surprise, I actually managed to stand up on the board a few times! The experience was exhilarating, and I loved every moment of it. So much so that I’ve decided to make a real go of this surfing thing.
A huge thank you to Kurt and Diaan for their encouragement and expert instruction—I would highly recommend Surf Big Bay to anyone looking to start their surfing journey.
