点评:If you’ve been longing for a trip back to 2005, Fallsview Indoor Waterpark has you covered — literally nothing seems to have changed since then. The decor is tired, the slides are tired, even the music (hello, late '90s/early 2000s hits) seems frozen in time. All that's missing is someone handing out flip phones at the door.
Planning to dry off after your splashy adventures? Hope you brought your own towel! If not, they'll happily sell you one of the small, thin "loaner" towels they used to provide for free — for the low price of $5 CAD. (You even get to keep it as a sad little souvenir. We left ours in the hotel room out of respect.)
The size of the park is probably its biggest plus — small enough that we could let our 6- and 8-year-olds run around a little without worrying they'd end up lost forever. Parents of toddlers, be warned: if your kid is under 40" tall, there's basically nothing for them to do. Even the so-called "kids section" has a 40" height requirement, which kind of misses the whole point.
Despite the place not being busy, we still waited 10–15 minutes (or longer) for slides. And if you’re a thrill-seeker or have older kids? Sorry. The slides here are about as thrilling as a gentle push on a backyard slip-n-slide.
Food options? Limited, expensive, and confined to a tiny restaurant area. Weirdly enough, they don’t check your bags at the door, so theoretically you could sneak in your own snacks (and trust me, your taste buds might thank you).
Pro tip: the waterpark connects to both the Skyline Hotel and the Sheraton via indoor walkways. We stayed at the Skyline and regretted not choosing the Sheraton. Do yourself a favor and stay there if you go.
In short: if you want a quick nostalgia trip to a simpler time when everyone thought frosted tips were cool, this waterpark might just be your spot. Otherwise, there are better options out there.
