The experience once in the Usambara Mountains was beyond what we could have imagined.

点评：We booked our hiking in Usambara mountains with Halisi African Adventures and we met with our tour guide Murtaza at the bus station in Lushoto and from the start he was very friendly, calm person, who helped us with the transport to the hotel.
We did a 2 days trip to Waterfalls, View point and the rain forest. It is incredible how much knowledge he has got about the nature, plants, the history of the region in Usambara Mountains and I learned from him more than I ever did at school.
He was great and patiently answering all our questions. We had a lunch in the middle of the forest, great guacamole. He involved everybody in preparing the lunch and we felt like a one family.
Walking through some villages he adjusted his speed of walk to us as we were making many photos of the mountains and talking to people. I was more than happy for hospitality and services we received from Halisi African Adventures and Murtaza is an amazing guide and such a beautiful person not only from outside but also from inside, he helped us with the bus tickets and on the day of leaving Lushoto he called to say goodbye. I will never forget the Usambara mountains and the time I spent there.
