Started out great… ruined the first impression

点评：Brought my very excited nieces and nephew to their first taste of the AGH on family day. The staff at the family day was amazing we really appreciated their time and patience. However I thought I’d take the kids to view a few exhibits and they loved it they had great appreciation for what they were seeing… then came along these very stern security guards who decided to scold my kiddos on doing a little twirl in their pretty colourful dresses they wore just for the art exhibit. It was innocent there was plenty of space between the art and where they were twirling. I can appreciate the rules and protecting the art but I will tell you that all they recalled from today was being scolded by the angry security lady. I would suggest a more gentle approach especially where kids are involved and perhaps explaining to them first the reasoning behind the rule. The kids absolutely should be following the rules but they are also kids who had never had this experience before. The security then proceeded to follow us to the next two exhibit areas. We left thereafter. It seems like security has been mentioned a few times in reviews on here and on Google so perhaps something to review.
