点评:The scenery is impressive. I watched many people stop and take in the view from this magnificent location. I made my way to use the restroom facilities. Signs on both restroom doors were weathered and stated they were not in functioning order, which leads me to believe that this is an issue that is being ignored. This brings you to a port-a-potty closer to the roadside. I waited for a family to use the port-a-potty before I did. A young lady came out and looked like she was going to hurl the morning breakfast. When I entered the port-a—potty, I could understand her physical reaction to the conditions. I can’t imagine a parent of little ones even considering letting their loved ones to have to use such a nasty port-a-potty. Just the sheer volume of travelers coming by this location each day would seem to make the Stone Lagoon Visitor Center a priority. And to top it off, there is no running water at this location, either. Can’t even use a water fountain or use a spigot to fill a water bowl for your pet. What an embarrassment for California State Parks. I believe the CSP budget was $858 million dollars for FY 21/22. Basic maintenance at a well traveled Visitor Center is a no brainer. Shame on California State Parks!
