点评:Myself and my partner came for lunch with our 1 year old daughter and unfortunately everything about the visit was terrible. I have been a few times over the years and it's really gone downhill.
Due to having our young daughter with us, I said to my partner I'll go down the steps and check they have a table before lugging her down the many steps. I asked if they had space, they said yes, I said I will go and get my daughter from the car and come back down, can you reserve a table for us, the man said no we don't reserve tables. I thought ok fair enough, so we went and got our daughter came back down and we stood for 5-10 minutes by the door being ignored by two men behind the counter. One was making the coffees, thought he did see us, the other didn't appear to be doing much and also looked at us repeatedly. In the end the waiter on the coffee machine finally said, can we help? We get to the table, order some pizzas, they were bland and dripping with grease and overpriced. No one came to ask if our food was ok or if we needed anything.
The next thing was two members of staff moving all the tables around and setting up a TV screen, then little cards on all the tables reserving them!! I was told they don't reserve tables...
The final insult was getting back to the car and realising it was pay and display, not pay on exit (oversight on our part, we were distracted by a crying one year old!) I realised my mistake and paid for a ticket as we were leaving, paid the right amount but obviously the timing was incorrect. Later got a ticket, which I appealed and supplied evidence of the ticket, this was rejected and the private parking company stated they have been instructed not to accept any mitigating circumstances so overall our day at Lusty Glaze was incredibly expensive for a a terrible lunch with terrible service!
