Great game!!! Disappointing customer service

Took my 13 year old son to the Seattle Reign game last night, 4/18, for his first pro soccer game and his first visit to Lumen Field. We loved the game and watched it in its entirety. Club seats, section 212. On leaving after the game he asked to go down to the field level to take some pictures. We picked an aisle and started walking down the stairs. There were two older gentlemen security guards employed by Lumen Field on both sides of the stairs. I said “excuse me, will this bring us down to the field?” They said yes and stepped aside for us to pass. We continued to the bottom of the 200 level and were stopped by a 3rd security guard who informed us that when we “bought tickets to this section we knew we couldn’t leave the section until 20 minutes after the game ended.” Apparently the “visitor section” has this rule. I went back up to the two security guards at the top and asked why they allowed us to walk down this section knowing we weren’t able to leave. I reminded them that we had walked past them 45 seconds ago. These egotistical jerks pretended like they couldn’t hear me and didn’t even offer a response or explanation. Just stared straight ahead and ignored me.
I did not question it or cause a scene. My son and I then waited for 15 minutes until we were “released.” No signage, no warning. By the time we were allowed to exit the majority of the players were off the field, making our photo ops irrelevant.
I will never attend another event at Lumen Field and will be posting the review on as many places as I can.
My son was disappointed and so was I.
