Amazing day out - ATV safari of Mageroya

点评：We (couple) booked an ATV safari of Mageroya with Destinasjon 71 degrees North and had an adventurous, fun and memorable experience.
It was just the two of us (and we did not have to pay extra for that - just no one else had booked for that day) and we were taken by guide Andreas to see Mageroya by ATV. After being properly equipped (helmet, warm outer layers, boots), our adventure started. My husband and I shared one ATV, and we had the opportunity to switch drivers so that we both got to experience driving an ATV.
While I was quite nervous in the beginning (with roads being icy and slippery), Andreas explained everything brilliantly and made us feel safe and comfortable and in control of the vehicle at all times. After the first minutes, I started having proper fun!
We went up a mountain and stopped at some viewpoints. The views of the island were amazing, we took the time to take some pictures and Andreas explained about what we saw and also about his life on Mageroya. Andreas was easy to talk to and we could tell he enjoyed the outing as much as we did.
Surprisingly, being the passenger on the ATV was also great because then I could finally enjoy the views more rather than focussing on the road!
It was the mixture of a beautiful, sunny day, an adventurous activity that we had never tried before and a friendly and laid-back guide that made our ATV tour perfect. We would definitely recommend Andreas as a guide and Destiasjon 71 degrees North as tour operator for activities in and around Honningsvag!
