点评:I'm disgusted I have to write this review, as I've given the Laurels ample opportunity to reply to my emails, which I sent on the 27th March and the 3rd of April. I phoned on the 8th April, and still no response or phone call. I was in the company of an elderly couple and my partner. The lack of respect and manners was appalling. We ordered 3 "fish & chips", the waitress didn't listen to our instructions, was very disinterested. We ordered without peas, peas arrived!! There was no engagement or customer service, never once asked "was every thing OK" . The fish was floating in grease, you had to remove the batter, it was soft and not edible. When at the bar ordering a drink,(because the waitress never came back to the table) I mentioned that we couldn't eat the fish, the bar man said ," I'll tell the chef". We asked for the bill and paid, we were agitated and upset about the whole meal. When leaving we approached the bar man and asked him, "what did the chef say" ,his unenthusiastic reply was "I told him". This happened between 5-6pm,on a Wednesday evening. It wasn't busy. The disregard and lack of empathy towards older people on this occasion was appalling.
