Beautiful and peaceful woodland - great for all ages to explore outdoors

点评：Hackfall is a beautiful and peaceful woodland brimming with nature, trees, plants, birds, wildlife, streams, ponds, castle ruins, great views on a hillside alongside the River Ure.
It's a super place for peace and quiet, for individuals, for families, suitable for all ages to explore and get away from it all.
Setup by and looked after by The Woodland Trust charity, it's completely free to enter, with a neat little car park just beside the small road between Grewelthorpe and Masham.
Clear signs, nice information boards, well-made walls, fences, gates and footpaths make it fairly simple to find your way. Some paths are easy and flat, some paths are steeper, narrow and with steps, etc, so you can adapt your route to the capabilities of the visitor(s) and to what you would like.
Thank you to The Woodland Trust for regifting this amazing corner of Yorkshire to all!
