点评：Hoped for good things having been unable to get a table twice previously, maybe that increased my expectations. Regardless of expectation what I got was cold food. They only had a beef gravy as they were out of vegetarian (or couldn’t make some). Minutes after ordering our plates came out of the kitchen, this was the second alarm ringing in my head, the first being it seemed too cheap at just under £16. With no gravy I was offered sauces, which turned out to be mustard or horseradish. But also with no gravy came nothing to heat the food that has been sat waiting to be platted, so I got the full experience of what the food is like, along with a small portion of protein there was nothing to make me want to return again to eat. I’ve nothing against the ingredients but how they’ve been kept warm before serving. There is a fine line between keeping food hot but not drying out and letting it go cold. I can assure you, the food is cold, you need to find the sweet spot and deliver on it. I didn’t complain because what could you have done microwaved it? I was told the plate was hot when passed to me, a tip here would be for the wait staff to place it on the table then. But the plate wasn’t hot, maybe mine had sat outside the heat lamp, all a disappointment and regrettable experience.
