Well worth a visit to this calming paradise in Cardiff

点评：Stunning in spring. There is the main area where you can walk around the lake. There is also a small area sheltered by trees at one end and a flower garden and a play park at the other. There is so much wildlife to see; squirrels, moorhens, swans, ducks, geese. The flower garden is well worth a visit when the roses are blossoming later in the year. There is also a cafe but we didn’t go there this time.
It is a short walk from the Heath High Level station. I feel it could be better advertised. We only know about this place - and have been coming to it for years - because we are relatively local. It’s a bit hard to find.
There are toilets - The toilets by the play park are okay but the ones by the ice cream shop are awful, there isn’t even water in the sinks anymore. There are also toilets in the cafe for paying customers only.
