Pleasant pub good service

点评：Recently moved to the area and this was recommended by many locals so thought we’d give it a go.
Service was friendly, polite and professional. The building and decor is traditional and to be honest a little tired.
The owners are clearly trying to make some headway by holding local markets and events so let’s hope this continues. The best pub in the village needs to remain that.
The food service was well timed and delivered in a timely manner. Two brisket burgers, one hunter’s chicken burger all with chunky chips. Sides of onion rings and Mac n cheese.
The burgers were very tasty and the chips so crispy and delicious.
All in all a pleasant meal and we will return to sample the rest of the menu as we were too full to test the deserts (unfortunately)
