点评:this attraction has a pink church inside that was converted into a museum that contain lots of artefacts and antiquated memorabilia way back the spanish era. you can spend a lot of time roaming inside this place before you head towards the picnic grounds submerged in water.
to get to the dining area, you need to ride a carabao wagon for about 5 minutes or longer depending on your whim to take pictures along the way. locals would ride with you to serenade you with folk songs that our foreign guests could not understand but was clapping and foot tapping with the rhythm just the same.
the fun part was the lunch. it was a gastronomic array of filipino dishes that could be enjoyed while listening to the rapture of the man-made waterfall and the feeling of the cold water on your feet. it was a different vibe that only villa escudero can offer.
a 30-minute cultural show capped our visit. it was fun and an exciting display of different dances around the country. the dancers and the audience both enjoyed the performance.
for a 1,800/head price, this is already reasonable. we could have opted to stay overnight but all rooms were booked during the weekend we visited.
