Great day out, but could be even better!

点评：We took our daughter, and we managed to get the adult and toddler ticket, which saved us a lot of money otherwise it would have been nearly full price for a 2 year old which seems odd for an attraction of this sort. I also got the junior ranger pack which she might have been a bit young for, but that was my fault really, although I could only find 2 signs that prompted you to fill these in! We got there earlier than our allotted time, but they let us go in anyway which was nice of them. We started with a photo op where we were given a QR code, and we had a look at the photos later, it would be really cool if you could get an option to buy these online after your visit in case you changed your mind! We saw the otter and the seal talks/feeds given by Bev and she gave us lots of interesting information, it was really fun to learn the names of the animals and knowing they were being well looked after. It was a shame that the penguin island was closed when we visited, but we understood the need for the wellbeing of the animals. All the exhibits were fascinating, and we loved the turtle rescue centre, it was hard to pull our daughter away from this one. We really enjoyed the rock pool exhibit as well, unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the lady giving this, but she gave us loads of facts about the eggs laid by the sharks, and really had time for us (my husband asks a lot of questions!). My only reason for giving 4 stars (apart from the option to buy photos later, and the mission pack signs), is that the signage to get round was lacking slightly, we did get lost a few times and it could have been helped with clear signs on which direction to go next!
