点评:We visited your Hubli Reliance SMART - the so called Super store on the 17th of Oct 2023 and we raised a bill of Rs 5792/- (Store : 2997 / Cashier : 60421119 / Bill No.41 / POS No.R120) but I would like to point out that I was very irritated with the experience towards the end as the staff was very lethargic and not at all understanding during the billing process, even the so called manager (as introduced to us) was very sarcastic and acted like he owned the store and I was out to steal their goods.
The concern I had was that the Kinley bottled water was placed in the place where it was mentioned - buy one get one free. I picked up four bottles assuming I would be charged for 2, the cashier stated that the offer was not on the kinley water but perhaps on something else, and by the time I could go and check again the bottles were all shifted further. I understand it could perhaps be the other customers who could have shifted things around but as I was unhappy about it, requested the cashier that I would like to return the bottles. She refused pointblank saying that as per their procedures, returns are only processed after 24hours!!! We could not do anything about that as we were leaving that day to return back to Goa!! But no one wanted to help us out. Procedures can be flexible, I 'm sure and it is only after returning back home that we noticed it is written on the back of the bill that goods can be returned if one has the bill and within 14 working days. Honestly, this was the first time we went to a Reliance Smart, and it seems like it will be our last time!!
It's not about the money, it's the attitude that annoys me, After paying 5700, paying for two extra bottles was not difficult and I would have let it go if they were not so rude and irritating about it!! Perhaps they need to be trained in customer hospitality or just trained to be more understanding. Not everyone comes with the intention of stealing from you guys!!!
