Looks great on tv, but attending a match is a terrible experience

点评：Was in Athens to attend a Greece v Scotland football match that was played at the Giorgos Karaiskakis Stadium, and from games I have seen on tv, I was looking forward to visiting this stadium.
On the surface the stadium is great, good links to Monastiraki/Central Athens on the Metrol (probably a 15-20 minute ride) and a station right next to the ground, with loads of bar and catering facilities to be found.
Once you start to make your way into the stadium, the charm wares off fast......
Greek security are not used to away fans, and there were 2000 Scotland fans in attendance.
Firstly they were directing ALL Scotland fans into the away section (including fans with home end tickets) and this resulted in the away section being over packed (I showed up at my seat and there was people there who had tickets for the same seat, but in the home section next to the away section) with fans stading on the stairs as the game started (it was 10 minutes into the game before they opened a door to allow fans to flow into the empty section next to the away section).
At the final whistle, Scotland fans were told to wait 20 minutes before we could leave, but it was almost 1 hour before we got out the stadium.
Really disappointed with this, and back again in November for another Greece v Scotland game, and hope they have it sorted out by this time.
