点评:Please note that this review is only for Green Lake Rustic Campground. Part of Interlochen State Park was closed when we visited so we were not able to spend time in the rest of the park. And no ice or wood was available to purchase at the park because of the closure.
We spent two nights at the Green Lake Rustic Campground. We camped here to attend a concert at the Kresge Auditorium at Interlochen Center. It’s a fairly close walk but part of the walk is along M-137 and vehicles were parked along there, making it somewhat unsafe to walk, especially in the dark. Bring a flashlight for the walk back to the campground!
Our site was very spacious and wooded and quite private. We saw fireflies at night, which we loved! No recycling…garbage only. No showers. Vault toilets only (and they were very smelly) and no hand sanitizer was provided at any of the toilets. Some sites were on the water. There was a staircase to the water but you can’t walk along the shoreline easily when you get to the bottom; there was a bench there, but it was practically in the water. Part of Interlochen State Park was closed when we visited, so no ice or wood was available to purchase at the park.
