Whipsnade Zoo的点评
点评：Visited with my 5 year old and 3 month old. My son has a disability and we were able to park inside the zoo for free with his Blue Badge. There's several carparks dotted around the zoo, which whilst is great for people who have reduced mobility, it was a bit odd walking round the zoo and popping out into a carpark occasionally.
The zoo is really well set up for people with disabilities. There's a large changing places toilet which we used several times. There's also toilets which are opened by motion sensor which is great for people with reduced mobility. All areas are easily accessible and there's a large play park with plenty of sensory elements. There's so many open green spaces and picnic benches to sit on, including ones undercover.
We paid extra to go on the train (you get a free carer ticket for this too) and this was great to see some of the animals we didn't get chance to walking around.
The enclosures are the best I've seen at any zoo. The animals have so much space and my Husband likened the zoo to a 'walking safari park' which is definitely what it felt like! The downside to this is that you can feel like you've walked a lot without necessarily seeing much, however I really appreciate how much space the animals have.
Some of the enclosures seemed a bit of a walk from anytning else, such as the penguins which seem a bit stuck out and forgotten.
We had food from the Base Camp cafe. This is table service and food was pretty standard prices for a zoo. Tasty enough and filled us up. We later had an icecream from the carte dor stand, again good prices and tasty icecream.
Overall we had a lovely day, such a big zoo that we couldn't see everything in a day. Loved how accessible it was.

有些围栏似乎离其他地方有点远，比如企鹅，它们似乎有点被忽视了。
我们在Base Camp咖啡馆吃了点东西。这是餐桌服务，食物的价格在动物园里相当标准。味道不错，我们吃饱了。后来我们在carte dor小摊上吃了个冰淇淋，价格也很合适，冰淇淋也很美味。
总的来说，我们度过了愉快的一天，动物园很大，我们一天之内不可能看完所有的东西。我喜欢它的交通便利。
