点评：If you're heading to Tel Aviv and love the outdoors, make sure to carve out time for the Tayelet—Tel Aviv’s iconic seaside Promenade. I had the joy of exploring it recently with my family—three adults and three energetic kids—and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
Stretching along the Mediterranean coast from the modern bustle of Tel Aviv all the way to the historic charm of Jaffa, the Tayelet offers a slice of everything: stunning views, vibrant culture, and endless people-watching. I ended up walking five miles in one day without even noticing—something I rarely do back home in the States. That’s the magic of this place.
Along the way, we passed beach volleyball games in full swing, kids building sandcastles, and sunbathers soaking in that golden Israeli sunshine. As evening rolled in, the vibe shifted into something out of a movie—people dancing in the street with a live instructor, music floating through the warm night air. It felt like a celebration of life.
My grandchildren brought their scooters, which was perfect because the Promenade includes a dedicated bike and scooter path. They zipped along joyfully while I walked and watched, snapping photos of their adventures and the breathtaking sea views. We took dozens of pictures perched on the rocks near the water, with the waves crashing below and the skyline behind us.
