Punta Tombo的点评
点评：During our tour of South America seeing penguins was on our bucket list. We decided on Punta Tombo as we had a full day in port from our cruise ship. Transport is by mini bus holding 21 people. No matter where you choose to see penguins on this type of cruise it’s a long way to get to the penguin reserve. Punta Tombo reserve was a 2.5 hour drive from the cruise port, there is a section of road that is just gravel and can be quite bumpy. Time spent at the reserve is around 1.5 hours.
There are wooden walkways that you keep to. We saw plenty penguins in there nests with young. Also loads on the beach. It’s was a very special experience for us and something we won’t do again. The packed box lunch was fine, sandwich was too big and bit dry but rest was nice. David our guide was a lovely mature gentleman with great English. Driver was very good, got us back to port on time.
