点评:Sliab Liag or Slieve League is in the parts of Ireland that most people don't visit. The cliffs are higher than the more famous Cliffs of Moher, but the services are all privately run, meaning that you can hike by foot up the glorious mountains or you will need to hire a shuttle at the bottom of the mountain. Unless the hike is part of your plan take the shuttle, learn a little history from the drive up, and you will be dropped off at the start of the best views. You can take as long as you want on the cliffs until the last shuttle at the later that day. You can also grab a snack, hot chocolate, or other treats at the top of the mountain. Most vendors take credit cards, but be sure to bring some coin and cash for knick knacks.
It is just stunningly beautiful and as the clouds role by, the view and your perpsective can change every few minutes. Enjoy the pristine blue of the water and the stunning skies. We also enjoyed the cliffside sheep who grazed carelessly. There are small hikes available to get even higher views and to truly take in the expanse of the ocean.
A few historic signs here and there, but not a ton to take in. There are also a number of nautical symbols that are important to wartime history.
Wear layers to intercept the wind and any showers (which are possible everywhere in Ireland).
