Riverside Walkway
自由州立公园的点评
点评：It was hard to get here using public transportation, so I ended up taking an Uber. I stopped by since I was taking the State City cruise for Ellis and Liberty Islands. The cruise was using the old railway building as their office. Since I arrived early, I went for a walk around the park.
It is located across the river from Manhattan so it gives a really nice view of the city. There is a walkway which goes along the river, going behind Ellis Island and Liberty Island, giving a different view of the islands.
The pathways were wide and very clean. It was tranquil and quite an easy walk. I didn't have time to explore the entire park, but I did end up walking to the Liberation Monument on Black Tom Island. It was quite scenic to and from the cruise building.
It is easily a nice trip in itself but also a nice side trip if you're in the area and have some time to spare.
