点评：The Spanish did well in Manila. A clear imprint as in Panama. I felt thrown back in the old city of Panama. Only the composition of the population is different. So recognizable and atmospheric, I really enjoyed this day trip. The streets near Plaza Moriones are bad, but Fort Santiago is a very pleasant location to stay. Everything was clean and special, beautifully maintained landscape, excellent facilities, the museum, lots of cats!!! And a golf course adjacent but too hot for me to play golf there!!! Walking to Plaza de Roma it was a nice walk, everyone wants to guide you!!! But discovering and experiencing everything yourself is my challenge. Nowadays everything can be googled. I grant the guide their bread but all the chatter is not for me! Excellent restaurants, nice brewed beers everywhere a specialty. I think they have mangos there all year round. Also to be found in the beer!
From day 1 in our hotel Fairmont / Raffles beef tapa was my favorite dish, both breakfast and lunch. The Filipino version of the Indonesian rendang. A delicious lunch in one of the many restaurants with cats everywhere in the San Augustin museum and beautiful cozy terraces. Intermuros is very worthwhile. And everyone is friendly and helpful. Very beautiful buildings, clean streets to stroll through and outside the city walls the Rizal park is also interesting. In addition Puerta Real Gardens also nice to relax and enjoy the nature and peace, By the way also a golf course and crowds in this course!!!!
