点评:A visit will put you into a retro mindset of spies, informants, tiny cameras, secret police, etc. Even the interior of the building has an early 60's mid-century vibe to it. The building is in the center of a compound formally reserved for Stasi members. You can feel the eyes and multiple cameras staring at you as you enter the building.
- First floor is devoted to the Perpetrators (the local folks who were acting up in the eyes of the Stasi as in, " Comrade, you actions have been noted.")
- Second floor is devoted to the the offices of the Ministry for State Security (Stasi) plus his immediate subordinates just as they left it in 1990 with the fall of the Berlin Wall .
- Third floor is devoted to the listening devices (cameras, mikes built into a door, etc), and any temporary exhibits. Make sure to get your photo taken by the Stasi paddy wagon on the entrance floor.
Easy to get to via the Magdalenenstrasse U5 subway station. Open seven days a week.
Put it very high on you Spy vs Spy list of things to see in Berlin!!
