点评：A trip to the Panama canal is on everyone's list when in Panama. We thought we would enjoy a tour of the Miraflores Visitor center. The actual locks and information were excellent. The staff were mostly pleasant. The IMAX movie is the highlight, in my opinion.
When we ventured out onto the viewing platform, things got uncomfortably crowded. For over an hour we waited to see one of the ships come though, which was neat to witness, however, the other tourists have no regard for personal space. I had to put my arms on both sides of my wife to protect her from being pushed aside so that inconsiderate tourists could get a photo. It was not enjoyable. When we were trying to leave the people were so crowded on the stair we'll that we had to exit by force. The announcer was continuously asking people to keep the exit clear but apparently jot in enough languages!
With the heat and the people on top of you, I am surprised there were not any serious issues with elderly or children getting hurt.
I recommend the center and IMAX, but be cautious if you head outside onto the platforms.
