Giraffe Cottage 2 night stay
Port Lympne Reserve的点评
点评：My family and I booked a 2 night stay, April 2025.
We reserved the giraffe cottage which included a chef for breakfast and dinner both days, fire pit, small encounter with the giraffes (to feed you pay extra) and private safari on both days.
Our ranger Casey from Utah was amazing. He showed us around the park and answered all of my nephews questions. He was super patient with him and even the morning after we got home my nephew said “I wish Casey was here” lol. He gave us a lot of great information about the animals and park.
Another credit to Port Lymph was our chef, Thomas. He has that warm Italian hospitality! We were dancing and singing to Italian songs during the dinner. He even held my 6 month old baby so I was able to eat.
A few points we had;
Our menu was sent to us months in advance but they should utilise the chefs they have (Italian, Indian, Turkish) should be able to make the food of their home country as the food was pretty basic otherwise.
Secondly, there is a lot of land and I think we expected more animals, to be honest. One night stay was probably more than enough to get it all done but it was a long drive for us so we stayed for 2 to get the most of it.
My suggestion to others and if I ever return again would be to do the main hotel or one of the options where you can see the animal from the room and perhaps visit the surrounding area (Folkestone or Rye).
