Some fabulously intriguing artefacts at Skopje's Archeological Museum

点评：A stunning collection of Macedonia's ancient artefacts & I was impressed by the way they were displayed. ( The only downside is that they haven't yet got long descriptions in English. There are short captions in English.)
I've visited many archaeological museums across Europe & Asia (though I'm not an archaeologist, just love art & cultural history).
While Skopje's collection is smaller than many international museums, it has some pieces that are very different from any I've seen elsewhere. E.g. : Altar, model of a great mother, Tumba, Madzari, Skopje. 2nd half 5000s BC I was so impressed that I wrote that down as a caption to the photo (see here) that I took.
I also found the staff friendly. ( I read another review suggesting "dusty..." That was not my experience at all.) So I highly recommend it if ancient art interests you.
