点评:This was my second time visiting Corfu, and while I didn’t stay in Paleokastritsa on either trip, I visited it as a day trip both times. Honestly, I don’t feel it lives up to the hype. The area has three small bays with narrow beaches, which don’t seem to offer enough space for sunbeds, especially during peak season.
When we visited in September, it was a rainy day, so the scenery might look more appealing under the sun. We stopped for a drink at a terrace overlooking one of the bays, which also had sunbeds along the cliffside. While that setup sounds charming in theory, the narrow access and partially obstructed views I imagine it makes it less enjoyable.
We did have a nice meal at a beachside restaurant, which was one of the highlights of the visit. However, as a whole, Paleokastritsa feels overrated. Unless you’re staying at a high-end hotel on the cliffs, I believe there are better locations in Corfu to base yourself. It’s worth a short visit, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless luxury accommodations are part of the plan.
