Lovely historical village with a climb up to historical site and crystal clear water and beach close by.

Bus transport booked via the hotel €27pp from Rhodes old town
We were picked up at the hotel as planned 9am.
Comfortable drive with a few additional stops - no complaints. Lindos was about 1hr 30 minute drive in all
Lindos was a good day out. From drop off around 1045 -1100 we had until pick up at 3:30pm.
You could hire a car and spend longer here with more beach time.
A lovely village with lots of steps, alleys of souvenirs shops and cafes and restaurants to explore. Prices are a bit higher than in Rhodes for the usual souvenirs of magnets, evil eyes, key rings etc. For the history enthusiasts, it’s the Acropolis that’s arguably the main show that you can visit. It does though require is a trek of many uneven steps to get up to at the top. There are no hand rails, so people with limited mobility will struggle. Entry was €20 but EU people under a certain age, I think 25, actually get in for free.. so say you’re from Europe - but not the UK :)
Acropolis is worth the visit. Quite an amazing structure that is partly being renovated. You can also get a view of the main beach and town at the top. There are no safety barriers so your children need supervising. You can certainly appreciate the structure of what was here at the top of the hill and the Greek history that is here.
On the way back down you can stop off for refreshment at one of the cafe bars or snack bars . We had some crepes and stoped for a drink at the Captains House. A quirky place with some interesting architecture and historical attracts in the back by the toilet. The stag are lovely and really friendly. Note you can not use toilets for free so be prepared to have a drink to support the business that has a toilet or pay for public toilet use (€0.50).
If you had enough of the village you can then make your way down to the beach. A beautiful bay , quite busy but you’ll have the crystal clear water to cool off in.

下山途中，你可以在咖啡馆或小吃店停下来喝点东西。我们吃了一些薄饼，然后在船长之家（Captains House）停下来喝了一杯。这是一个很有特色的地方，后面的厕所旁边有一些有趣的建筑和历史景点。那里的男士们都很可爱，也很友好。注意，你不能免费使用厕所，所以准备好喝点东西来支持有厕所的商家，或者支付0.5欧元的公共厕所使用费。
如果你在村子里玩够了，可以下山去海滩。这是一个美丽的海湾，虽然人潮拥挤，但清澈的海水可以让你清凉一夏。
