Lots to do here but don’t miss the evening gas lamplighter

点评：Really unusual place , if you are visiting the public toilet opens at 10am and you need 5zl in change to go in . It’s just down the street in front of the cathedral. The lamplighter in the evening is a must see , but be prepared for his speed ! He starts half an hour before sunset , if it’s the normal man , he starts somewhere around the front of the tourist information building / side of the cathedral. It takes him about 2 hours to complete the circuit each night .
The cathedral has a lift to the top of the tower for some lovely views , which you can combine with a ticket to the baroque rooms . There are just the two , but if you are going up the tower you may as well do both . As an aside the university church has baroque rooms , but we were unable to find a time when it was definitely open . The tourist information office said they had items stolen and don’t open as much anymore .
