点评：What an amazing place. Alaska Sealife Centre is a live museum that is dedicated to marine research, education, and wildlife and combines a public aquarium. A veterinary talk about rehabilitation programs of animals rescued is a must. Most of the animals rescued were due to either loss of mothers or abandonment of pups by mothers. These included sea otters, seals, sea lions, walruses but could also be bears and wolf cubs. The aquarium houses any species of indigenous waters spreading along the north rim of Pacific ocean up to northern Japan. Rescued animals are cared for in outside compounds until mature and healthy enough to be released back in the wild. The view of Resurrection Bay is stunning with snow capped mountain range . It so panoramic that a special lens is required to encompass it all without visual distortion. A walk in the town and a trip in the bay is recommended. Most of the town is shut during the winter months but opens up with the arrival of casual workers from USA and Canada, as and when tourists begin to arrive.
