Best bar I have ever been to
Lennon Bar的点评
点评：This is a place I always return to ever since my first visit in 1999. I have been back to Kyoto many times since then, and on each occasion I have visited Lennon Bar several nights a week. To me it has almost become a home away from home.
As the name suggests this is a Beatles themed bar. Several times a month there is live music, which is always advertised well in advance for the upcoming month on Facebook. For me, who was a teenager in the 60´s, this is reason enough to come here, but actually this is not why I have come back all these times. The main reason is the extremely warm and friendly atmosphere of this bar. This very much depends on Kiku, the owner of the bar. If it had not been for her, it would probably had been just like any other bar.
Every time I have returned to Lennon Bar, Kiku has been there behind the bar busy serving drinks and beer to her customers. Kiku is without question the nicest bartender I have ever come across (and, believe me, I have met quite a few travelling around the world for many years).
Even though I just returned home to Sweden quite exhausted after a 22 hour trip back from Japan, I have already started planning my next visit to Kyoto and Lennon Bar.
