Nice house and cafe for lunch

点评：After parking in the near by car park in the disabled spot, we were driven up to the house by a very nice young man. He told us that the little bus goes back and forth all day long, so great if you have walking difficulties.
Where you either purchase your ticket or have your e- ticket scanned there are free lockers, to pop any big bags in, as you can not go round the house with them, it would of been handy to know as we could of popped our small cool bag inside, it would of saved my husband having to return to the car, to pick up our picnic lunch
Lovely tour of the house, with very knowledge guides in each room. We were told about the tapestry that is being renovatedand I was so pleased with myself I managed to climb the funny stairs, upto the attic and get down the slightly spiral ones to get down to the exit.
Lovely place to have lunch outside the cafe and I asked if we might eat out picnic on one of the tables, and the very helpful lady said of course, as they were not to busy,despite it being a Saturday over a bank holiday weekend. Lots of very nice salads and ploughman's lunches coming out. Hubby enjoyed a chocolate ice cream
Nice little shop, but when you have 8 grandchildren to buy for nothing was reasonable enough, we stopped of to see some nice volunteers showing people how to rag rug

这家小店很不错，不过考虑到有8个孙子孙女要免费买东西，这价格也算合理了。我们停下来，看到一些好心的志愿者在教大家如何制作碎布地毯。
