点评：I wouldn’t do this every time I was visiting Wisconsin because of the price but it sure is nice to avoid Chicago traffic and end up in Wisconsin after a relaxing 2.5 hour ride.
For a family of four, cost about $430 one way and that includes the vehicle. Kids ride free but an adult ticket is $111 and the vehicle fee is $121. Then, they add port fees and a fuel surcharge on top of that.
Went on a beautiful summer day and boat ride was very smooth. Great views from the outside top deck as it leaves Muskegon Harbor and as you get close to Milwaukee. Once you are outside the harbors, boat picks up speed and it becomes quite uncomfortable and windy to stay outside.
Middle deck is completely enclosed with comfortable chairs and tables with large windows. There is also a snack bar that will tide you over until you dock.
They aren’t clear about this on the website but your entire party should stay in your car until your car has passed the gatehouse check. Then, everyone except the driver gets out and waits in the terminal to board. When arriving at destination, they make an announcement and everyone in your party gets back into the car at the same time.
