Nice ride for novice riders, good for kids.

点评：A nice experience for novice riders.
We were a family of 4 with mixed ability riders Dad - never ridden and not a horse fan.
Mum - experienced rider in youth but not ridden for years
7 and 10 year old kids - both very physically capable children but neither with riding experience.
We did the 2 hour beach ride. Overall a good experience. The girls leading the ride were all very friendly. Kept the kids on a lead rein at the start and then let them walk alone when they were happy they were confident and in control of the horses.
Very limited time on the beach - it’s quite a long way from the stables no more than 10 mins in the 2 hour ride - it’s a lovely ride nonetheless. No opportunity to go faster than a walk unless you book a canter ride and you have to be over 14. Horses stay nose to tail for the ride and you may end up not with your family unless the horses are of a similar size. If you are an experienced rider it would probably be a bit boring.
Son’s horse spooked near the end of the ride and he came off, he wasn’t hurt and the girls were brilliant at checking he was ok, getting him back on the horse and getting his confidence back to the point he asked to ride off the rein again.
