点评:Got a RedLetter voucher for my 30th birthday, which I decided to purchase a "Hike, Helicopter flight and cream team" event with this company on a Sunday in September.
The first time I didn't look at reviews for something and I deeply regret it!
Me and my friend decided to do the "hike" before the flight, but it was not a hike, it was a walk through some woods and then half of it was on a road with no footpath, so quite dangerous in my opinion.
Turned up to the flight and asked to use the toilets, but was informed that the café was closed so there were no toilets. With this in mind, I then enquired about the cream tea after the flight, as was subsequently told that this was no happening and to she would let the company know so I could be issued a refund for this, but for me to do this as well.
I did this in the next few days, as I heard nothing from then, and then the individual from the company implied that I was lying when I said I had not received chocolates and bubbles, that were suppose to be in place of not receiving cream tea and was stated on the voucher. I agreed it was stated on the voucher, but apart from the check in lady munching on a box of chocolates, we did not get offered any. Maybe because we were the last flight of the day they were all gone, and we went to a local cheesecake place instead as we were so hungry.
The main point that doesn't sit well with me is that they said the café was "unexpectedly" closed, but I looked up the opening times for said cafe, and it is closed every Sunday....
Also, if it was unexpectedly closed, how could you have chocolates and bubbles prepared..?
Really awful customer service and didn't even apologise in the first instance.
RedLetter Days not anymore helpful, will avoid both going forward.
