Great time, amazing staff, great food…….but very dark rooms!

点评：My mum and I went to the Slieve Donard as an early Mother’s Day treat. We stayed one night in the Deluxe Twin sea facing room.
I cannot compliment the staff at the Slieve Donard enough. Everyone was really helpful, welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A special shout out to Brodie (sorry not sure of spelling) in the Percy French for the great service at dinner and to Donna Maguire for the fantastic service at Breakfast! So warm and friendly and again nothing too much trouble especially Donna.
The food both in the Percy French and the main hotel for breakfast was lovely. Great variety and all very fresh etc.
Used the pool and the jacuzzi, both of which were lovey - especially the jacuzzi when the mist lifted and we could see the mountains and the sea!
Only downside was how dark the room was - why would you paint a ceiling dark grey! And not having a mirror any where near a socket - these things are basic and whoever designed the rooms should know better!
