点评：HIDDEN GEM - Troy township rebuilt campus of the 1800s, named after the ancient city of Troy, which held significant cultural & mythological importance, particularly as the legendary origin of Rome.
Best $7.oo, I spent in Michigan! I bought a wooded top in the store also:)
Self-guided campus (maps & FREE passport game for kids) encourages PRESERVATION, PRESENTATION, and ACCESS to historical artifacts OR monthly programs, Tuesday teas, a wide array of speakers, topics, preschool story hours, and classes including blacksmithing.
Accessible for those with disabilities/impairments!
I couldn't find the outhouse (they have bathrooms and running water... BRAVO), great signage also.
Bring your coffee & an apple, sit in the courtyard (City Square) ask yourself... Who walked here, Who shopped the general store, Who prayed in the church, Who graduated the multi-generational school house, Who lived in the House, Worked in the Printery... How would you have contributed in a rural Troy in 1800?
Pure joy, Visit during all their Seasonal / Holiday events (or just a weekday like us). Visit Spring for the Gardens Bloom, Summer to doze off in the town square, Fall & Winter, the fires and smells of burning wood, and a busy, busy blacksmith.
PS: the onsite staff is knowledgeable and engaging if you see them, Say Hi from us, their Wisconsin Friends!
