Great choice for a rainy day
Matlock Bath Aquarium & Exhibitions的点评
点评：We were looking for somewhere to go on a rainy bank holiday, the Aquarium fitted the bill, with 2 young children. 3 and 5.
Entering via stairs we almost missed the petrifying well, this was difficult to explain to the children, but does explain the source of the mineral water.
The fish were interesting to the children, being able to spot both a 'Nemo' and a ' Dory '. They also liked the crabs, axolotls,turtles , frogs and feeding the Koi carp.
The original swimming pool was impressive, with the history of the pool told with pictures from the past. It's great this building is being saved for future generations.
The boys really loved the hall of mirrors, and the light corridor, which looked like it went on forever.
The Holograms were fascinating, we eventually realised you need to be looking directly at them to get the best effect, as couldn't understand why the children couldn't see anything until we bent down to their level !
