Campsite & Reserve - Highly recommended. Excellent Value-for-Money.

An absolute hidden gem of a Discovery – better than expected by a mile, but it was not over-sold for sure. We simply wanted a Camp site close to the Rte 14 & Rte 7 junction that would facilitate our remaining routing down to CPT.
In summary we found a clean, safe & secure site (for 7- 9 Vehicles - there were only 4 that night), with plenty of bins and braais, a slightly angled site up on the hill opposite the Park Entrance gates (Strict times for Opening and Closing – the Gates are locked & unmanned at night), in a tranquil setting, sheltered from the breeze (steep rock face on three sides) and with a spotless ablution block. Fees were so Low, that I queried them, as I thought they must have made an error – Nope. Qualíty AND Cheap, in our World is a Wining Combination.
The Nature Reserve, around which we drove to amuse ourselves for 2 Hrs before sunset was a serious and delightful bonus – pretty as a picture, festooned with flowers (some claimed we had missed them !), and empty – only saw 1 other vehicle, the whole time. It was as if we had booked it for ourselves.
