点评：Pind Daan is performed in Gaya Ji (Gaya, Bihar) as a Hindu ritual for offering homage to the souls of ancestors. It is believed that by performing Pind Daan in Gaya, one can ensure peace and liberation for the souls of the ancestors. Thus I accompanied my daughter and a family friend who performed the rituals at the Vishnupad Temple and offered pind. The place is littered with leftovers of rituals . The Temple trustee collect fund from the pilgrims performing pind daan but it seems have little concern for cleanliness and crowd management. The ghats of Falgu river is very very dirty. Then comes the extortion activity of pandas in the temple.
Pind Daan is performed at Gaya's Pretshila Hill , with the belief that performing the ritual on this hill, especially dedicated to Yama (the god of death), can provide liberation and peace to the souls of those who died untimely or under tragic circumstances. The Pandas There are nothing but just extortionists.
