点评:Spectacular view for the lookout which is down a slope about 200m, pretty busy as we went mid morning, be careful it’s slippery and uneven. Various stalls set up on the way down hawking tourist souvenirs you can well do without but they don’t bother you and were proving pretty popular. It was funny that everyone congregated at one end of the viewing area to take photos, people seemingly couldn’t be bothered to walk along to the other end of the viewing area where you could take equally stunning shots across the gorge, which is what we did.
One thing that did annoy us was that at the top where all the buses and cars parked some idiots were obviously taunting the monkeys that congregate in the grass and in the trees and unsurprisingly the monkeys attacked them, they ran screaming and laughing onto their tour bus, the guide should have rebuked them for their stupidity but didn’t. There were female monkeys with their babies and the males were obviously anxious to protect them, it’s at moments like this that make you ashamed for some tourists at their behaviour.
