We had a wonderful cooking experience with Franco at the Gritti Palace

点评:We had a wonderful time with Franco. He took us to the fish market and showed us how to buy the freshest fish. He designed a menu based on the freshest food he saw at the market. We enjoyed a glass of wine and cicchetti at Osterio Bancogiro. Then, we headed back to the kitchen at Gritti Palace. Franco taught us how to cook the most incredible meal we've had in Venice. We made a special shrimp broth for our risotto. We made a special breading for the John Dory fish, baby artichokes, and white asparagus with asparagus cream sauce. Then we made an incredible lemon creme brúlee. Franco was a great teacher and let us participate every step of the way. We whipped, chopped, cut, and stirred for three hours. It was an incredible experience, paired with beautiful wines. We highly recommend this experience.
