点评:Daisy Nook cafe at the John Howarth Centre is so much more than just a cafe. It’s an adventure. Every time I go I see something different and its so redolent of both the areas nature and industrial past. With subtle reminders of canals, mills, iron works and the culture of the ancient folk who have lived here since the start of the industrial revolution. It’s where economic science meets its antithesis the natural world.
The country park is showcased by the painstaking work of the photographers who often meet here. These guys and girls will spend hours stalking the elusive wildlife at all times of day and night. A walk around the park is inspiring and the past speaks here .
Well done country park catering. You are the heart of our community and don’t ever think the hours of work in showcasing our beloved area of outstanding beauty goes unnoticed or unappreciated. Best breakfast for miles too.
