Coaches Club - Not What it Used to Be?

点评：Over the years I have visited the Coaches Club at Metlife multiple times - for business and special family outings. As a family, we had not gone since the pandemic season, and we really missed it as it really is a special experience. The food is fantastic, and the people are absolutely the friendliest and most accommodating I think I have been associated with in a venue of this size. Truly makes the experience super special. My hats off to the management of the staff. For the 10 times or so I have gone, the staff has been consistently great. We have gone for both the Jets and the Giants as we are those odd New York fans that feel lucky to have both an AFC and NFC team to root for!! It used to be that after the game you could basically walk all over the field and get pictures at the 50 year line and all of the emblems on the field. We had also taken great pictures reenacting the Beckham catch. This was highlight of the experience, with both the Jets and the Giants games. This time around though, we found that access to the field is now severely limited to a small stretch of one side of the field. There are security people in basically a gauntlet that keep people from going outside of the small space. This was a surprise for us and a complete downer. Also, we had some fantastic memories of the Giants drum corp coming onto the field as well and performing a few numbers which the crowd and our family absolutely cherished. That seems to be gone as well. I hope this was an anomaly as a truly special experience has been taken down a few notches.
