Good venue, needs improvement though for the price!!

点评：Been coming here for over 10 years for various showjumping events. The arenas are very good and the areas around the main buildings are pretty good and well presented. The Pavilion is a good venue for food and drinks during our stay as well as a burger and coffee van.
We always camp in the fields which is good with electric hook up. The price of hook up has risen dramatically in the past few years I guess due to the increased price of diesel for the generator but even so, it’s expensive!!. The main stable area serves a purpose but is looking rough and tired in my opinion. We came in May and the main shower block had been vandalised by the previous weekends guests so we’re out of action which wasn’t ideal as shower facilities are limited for the number of people on site. They were still out of action this weekend!! 2 months later!!. The toilet facilities have improved since building an additional block in the camping field but it would help if there were cleaners to re-fill toilet rolls and give it a quick once over a few times a day as they’re often dirty, messy and without loo roll!!. Overall a good venue but with the income it generates and the nature of the venue I’d expect it to be better maintained for paying guests. A bit of money spent and work done in the right areas would go a long way to making the overall experience much better.
